Provides training and organizational development services to all the  personnel in the plant or business unit, focused in the hourly or direct employees of the manufacturing process and other support areas, such as safety, quality and personal development. This position is critical to the accomplishment of the company objectives.


  • Development of training matrices, for standard operating procedures and certification test, that allows the company to assure a well skilled personnel in all the manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the training for the new hourly hires, with the onboarding program, focused to integrate the new personnel into the company.
  • Administrate the training conference rooms, equipment and resources.
  • Assess training needs together with each area manager, and elaborate training matrixes and plans, following the requirements of internal and external trainings required for development or audit compliance, verifying that those are linked with a development plan, upgrade, changes on machinery or process, government regulations or costumer requirements as well as ISO 9000  and ISO 14,001 related audits.
  • Participate as instructor in internal trainings.
  • Elaboration of training manuals and instructor guidelines for the internal sessions.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, with the purpose to create continue improvement.
  • Maintain training records and other related documents of the employees according to legal regulations.
  • Comply with training legal requirements that applied to his/her accountabilities.
  • Give support to area managers developing procedures related with the training area.
  • Among responsibilities the following environmental information is included, designated but not limited to: Knowledge and comprehension of the plant’s environmental policy, including the established environmental goals, knowing and identifying the environmental aspects and impacts on the area or process to perform, focusing on continuous improvement and keeping operational goals, identifying and segregating chemical residues and materials.
  • BS degree in Communication, Industrial Relations or Business Administration.
  • + 5 years working in training and development area, related with manufacturing operations. (Preferable)
  • Fluent bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • Experience in “On the Job” Training and training skills certification.
  • Knowledge of the legal aspects of training.
  • Excellent communications and personal relations skills, leadership with indirect personnel.
  • Excellent skills as instructor in the training room.
  • Organized.
  • ISO 9000, ISO 14001 auditing knowledge.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge and proficiencies in MS office (Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point), TRESS, JD Edwards.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Adult learning knowledge and group process.
  • Training Needs Assessment Knowledge.
  • Elaboration of Global Training Employees Plan.



Frequent exposure to office and manufacturing environments.



The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, especially while working in the various production facilities.   Travel is required.
